The Hero’s Guide

Ever thought about how a hero always seems to know what they’re doing? Well in this series by the hilariously talented author, Christopher Healy, these fairytale princes might not be as heroic as you think.

The Hero’s Guide to Saving Your Kingdom

In A Hero’s Guide to Saving Your Kingdom, you get to meet fairytale characters in a hilarious new way! All the Prince Charmings are sick of being referred to as just “the prince”. It’s time for them to earn the title of ‘hero’, but are they really up to the task? Meet Frederic, the somewhat formal and pishposhy prince from Cinderella. Meet Gustav, the strong and burly prince from Rapunzel, who wishes he had never seen her. Meet Liam, the hero who’s never been stopped, although suddenly he finds himself hated because he refuses to marry the wicked Briar Rose. And last but not least is Duncan, the absent-minded and goofy husband of Snow White. All have a chance to save their kingdom, but are they up to the challenge?

In part two, A Hero’s Guide to Storming the Castle, the princes are reunited, this time to stop a maniacal warlord who plans to take over their world. Joining the League of Princes in their next adventure are the heroines from each story. Long-haired Rapunzel has become a medicinal practitioner, Ella has become a swordswoman in her own right, Liam’s sister, Lila, has begun to battle the bounty hunter Ruffian the Blue, Snow has gone after her husband, and the evil Briar Rose is plotting to take over the world with their enemy. Once again, the League of Princes will have to step in to save the day.

The Hero’s Guide to Being An Outlaw

A Hero’s Guide to Being An Outlaw has just come out! In this third installment of the hilarious series, the heroes are outlaws! Briar Rose has been murdered and the princes, along with the girls, have been accused of the murder! But has the vicious princess really been murdered? Or is she alive? And is their arch enemy really alive and plotting their death? The League of Princes is at it again!

I loved all these books. They are hilarious and totally worthy of praise. I highly recommend these.
